The Evolution of a Leader

For more than 50 years, Sigma Graphics has been a full service commercial printer specializing in sheet-fed offset printing. Sigma moved from a storefront to its current location in 1972. In 1983, Sigma Graphics was purchased by Robert G. Kowa and he started broadening their market in commercial print by targeting northern Illinois, Chicago and surrounding suburbs. Tom Kowa became President of Sigma after the death of his father in November, 1991. The success of both Huston Patterson and Sigma Graphics is based on the Kowa family’s sound business principles handed down through the generations. Over the years, Sigma has continued to build and grow shipping printed products all over the United States, Mexico and Canada.

Sigma is proud of their manufacturing capabilities and printing flexibility. They can produce virtually any single to full color printed piece. Economical press runs are utilized to print effectively. They are self-sufficient from prepress through bindery. Sigma’s emphasis on personal service and long-term relationships produces a high rate of client satisfaction. Their main focus throughout the years has consistently been to provide their clients with personal assistance and individualized guidance in determining and completing their printing needs.
